First slide: I added my first & last name, talent, and added photos of my talent. Why I did this was to showcase what my presentation was about & I added pictures to make it more visual & appealing.

12/3-12/7
So this week was a blur. I wasn't feeling well, & had stuffy nose & stuff. I basically depended on cough drops to help me get thru my days.
Monday- Sign Waving (: the highlight of my Monday was sign waving because Bretman & Heighlee were hilarious. We were all trying to get people to honk at us and stuff. Every time we got a honk we would cheer (x the periods of that day was 5, 1, & 3, For english we had a substitute, & all we did was a vocabulary quiz out of 20 questions. We took the same quiz in the beginning of the year and we got 15 minutes to study so the quiz turned out easy. It was a pretty chill Monday. I guess (x for social studies we turned in our finals (: which turned out good. Alg, same ol, same ol. That's prettty much it for school.
Tuesday & Wednesday- I was absent due to breaking out with a favor Monday night.& my nose kept running & stuff. While I was at home, I just rested, & worked on my PowerPoint presentation too. what sucks is I have 2 baby sisters, 9mths, & 1 y/o so I can never have peace & quiet )x but it is what it is!
Thursday- Back to school! It was actually easier than I thought due to the fact that I missed a class. For science, I didn't miss out on anything that NEEDED to be done right away. I worked on it this weekend so yeah. & P.E is always the same. For leadership, i needed to read which I did this weekend (: the highlight of my Thursday was seeing Daisy (x LOL just kidding. (if you have instagram you'll know what im talking about.) Actually, the real highlight of my day was being MC for Talent Show (: I wasn't nervous at all, I actually enjoyed speaking. I made a few mistakes but it was my first time so I tried my best. But being MC was suuuuper fun!
Friday- Friday was chill! I was looking forward to the weekend a little too much though.. by the time this weekend came I actually wanted to go back school! So im glad the weekend is over. But Friday, we had a quiz for social studies as a (group) & me and my group did well on it (: for Mr.Mitsuda he handed back our English essays which I re did this weekend )x I kind of expected the grade I got. Im glad he is letting us re do it though! For algebra we had another quiz, but surprisingly, it turned out easy 0__o the fact that I was absent last class was a shock that I found it easy. Maybe because it was a review? Anyway, leadership had bowling fieldtrip & it was so shame )x cause everyone asked how come me & jessica didnt go.. Me & Jess went to Ms.Wert for homeroom & advisory (x lolllool! Well actually for me only homeroom. I had lunch moniters )x I dont know why Mr.Mitsuda picked me! ughhhhh, its okay though. It was pretty fun (:

Since I didn't have much to say about Tuesday & Wednesday, I'm gonna write about my weekend.
Friday Night: So my mom and dad them went Christmas shopping but me & my older sister had to stay home by ourselves because they were going Christmas shopping for us (x I waaaas so bored & scared. I hate staying home by myself, at night esply. So then, I spent my night watching Christmas movies (: & then I also stayed up till like 1230. haha (:
Saturday- We went to my aunty's house in Kaneohe, Kahalu? She lives on the beach so I also went paddle boarding (: then watched the Paquaio fight! Lordy lord, god bless him & his family -.- after that, we went home & I got home at like 10? So I didn't go sleep till like 130, I was busy reading. & then I was also texting & stuff. *__* lol. It was an okay day. & Sunday- BORING. I'm at home doing all my school work, science booklet, science essay, reading, english es& blogs. Nothing much ): So yeah, thats how my week went!

11/26-11/30
Monday-I basically did all my work and caught up. Especially my yearboook because it needed to get done. For science, we learned a bit more about the waves, and got ready for a lab that was coming up on Friday. In P.E we started Tennis which was pretty fun, I like it because it's almost like volleyball (= & for leadership, I worked on my yearbook (pages) the whole period. Lots so stress was put on me so I really focused on getting those pages done before anything else needed to get done, + A.R was due on Friday )';
Tuesday- Social studies we continued to work on our paragraphs and mines is coming a long really well (: English, our papers were actually due on Tuesday and I DID NOT KNOW!! I really began stressing. So, in algebra I just finished what I had of my english paper and turned in what I have, & now I'm actually editing my final and gonna re-submit it. During lunch, advisory, and recess I also worked on my yearbook. Our FINAL FINAL due date was the next day.
Wednesday- For science we took our quiz a little different, instead of using a paper and pen we had to pick a key term from Mrs.Fujimoto (randomly) then the term we got we studied it & taught it to the class. It was out of 9 points and my group & I got 7 -.- For P.E we did another game of tennis, (: I finished my yearbook page ! Finally, I had a couple of changes to make but it was okay, I just quickly fixed it. Literally felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulders.
Thursday- Our social studies final draft was due so I turned it in adn had a 1 on 1 conference with my teacher so she could grade it and I did alright, just some simple errors which I fixed. For english, we did a CR which was pprettyy easy i guess. Algebra was chill too. Did a worksheet and some lecture from Mrs.Gouveia. & Friday- in P.E we did a push up challenge, who could do the most in 1 minute & I won for the girls, then we played tennis again & my ball went on the way on the track field so I had to run to get it ); This weeek was a week filled of stressss. -.-

Monday- So on Monday, I didn't attend school because I had an appointment at Shriners Hospital for Children to check my spine. ;3 it was a lonnnnggg day. I woke up at 6:30am got ready, helped my mom get the babies ready then went to hit the road by like 9. My dad went to Thelmas (x lol to pick up breakfest. The whole time we were rushing because we thought my appointment was at 10am come to find out, we reached the freeway and my mom double checked her phone calendar & saw my appointment was at 11 (x LOL, we had extra time to kill so we went to my dad's office to visit my little cousin & aunties. Shriners was right across my dads office so we spent like 30-45mins killing time at my dads office. Finally we went to Shriners & omg, that hospital is soooo nice. There was a library, & aquarim in there o__0 but yeah. My appointment was 2 hours long ;3 we got out of there at like 1/2. After , my mom & dad took my brother to podium because he was "behaving" which I disagree (x lol. So, I raced with my brother too & it was fun i guess. Then we went home & I went to sleeeeep..
Tuesday- Back to school, I felt so lost only because I never went school on Monday. haha. But for science we watch a video on the End of the World. I found out that IF the world ends it will either be because of, ALIENS, A SICKNESS, YELLOW STONE(?), & earth quakes & stuff. I actually disagree & feel that the world is not going to end. That's just my belief. After the video Mrs.Fujimoto explained our homework, for homework we had to reasearch the end of the world. (if we agree/disagree) facts to support our statement. For Leadership, I worked at the Flu Shot Clinic. They didn't need much help so I just sat in the chair & watch the students to make sure they knew where they were going. 90% of them knew where to go so yeah. For P.E we had a subsitute, it was a free period. First, I got called to finish my HSA, i got an okay score. (315.) I guess. Im shooting for 340 though. After I got back & went out to the courts to play volleyball then went back inside & TRIED to play pingpong but the boys were hogging it so yeah. Tuesday was a chill day so yeah.
Wednesday- For english we focused on our introduction for our Reasearch essay. I shared mines & Mr.Mitsuda said it was okay... lol wow. It was another chill period after I fixed my introduction I worked on my other paragraphs. In social studies we corrected our paragraphs, (1&2,) Because I was absent the day before I felt lost LOL. I corrected Ronnie's paper. @errlyn el oh el. just kidding. but the highlight of my day was going home knowing we were having a FOUR DAY WEEKEND! & I was so excited because tomorrow was Thanksgiving & I knew there was going to be ono foods lol. When I got home my grammies was there to visit (: we cleaned the house to get ready for the weekend. Then we relaxed & took a break.
Thursday & Fridaay; The highlight of my 2 days off from school was getting to spend time with my family that I barely have the time to see (: just the atmosphere itself was perfect! We also got ready for the holidays and picked secret santa, and did arts and crafts. The other highlight was FOOD *__* getting to eat was the best. Ono food, ono grindzzzz. LOL, I enjoyed spending my 2 days off from school with family. When black Friday came, I actually was mad because my mom ended up not going & I DESPERATELY needed to go to hollister but we ended up not going )'; *tear. Its okay though. My weekend was also well spent with the family. I went paddle boarding with my uncles, and had lots of fun! Finally spent time in the ocean <3

Monday: Monday was a bleh, like always for English we are focuing on our research project. so far it's pretty hard honestly. It's so confusing because we need to research 3 different topics & add like 2 paragraphs for each research topic. But other wise it was easy. For algebra I'm actually getting it lol. It's easy because its review haha. We are doing geometric sequence. Now, Mrs.Gouveia is gonna start grading our homework assignments which I like because it will definitely bring up my grade. Monday was a drag, I just I'd why I needed to do & was looking forward to Tuesday because it was Election Day. Mondays are always a drag for me but this week, I sort of just did my thing because I knew we didn't have school & stuff. For social studies we are focusing on our essay. My essay is about the Mexican-American war. Social studies is eh, alright. Just doing what I'm suppose to do & it's pretty easy.
Tuesday: ELECTION DAY! I basically stayed home. The only thing I did was go out for a jog & stop at Starbucks with my friends. & we stopped by gieger park & played volleyball (: we got the ball stuck in the tree!! Lol, then after, I jogged back home by myself (x like a cool kid. Not. Anyway, I went home ate, & took a nap because I waaaaas bored! Then, my family & I watched the news & election stuff & yay Obama won! For dinner, we celebrated & bought chicken (; lol. @popeyes. & basically watched tv & got started for the next school day "/
Wednesday: P.E -.- softball! It's actually fun because I enjoy softball so yeah. & science, we are learning electromagnetic waves (: it's interesting & I actually am learning some things because we use those waves in our daily lifes! Such as tv, cellular devices, & radios. Ect. For leadership, we spent the period doing work & focusing on grades & stuff. It was a normal day. Except reallllllly boring. Idk why, it just was.
Thursday: same ol, same ol. Focused on our research project for English & practiced for the HSA. My topic I'm focusing on for English for the research paper is teen pregnancy -.- that's a big thing nowadays that's why. & social studies, I started on my essay. We made a tree map about all the different ears & stuff & we needed to pick which war we disagreed or agreed on. & I chose Mexican-American war. I went for a gooooooood jog on Thursday. Basically my day consisted of school, chores, & a jog. Then, homework , family time & I went to bed early. I was tired!!!
Friday: yay, it's Friday. Lol. For leadership we got introduced to a new presentation. I'm actually excited about this one because its about our talent (: & of course it's easy b/c it's about our talent. More so the video is what I'm looking forward to doing because I get to demonstrate my talent (: science, we learned about longitude, transverse, & surface waves' it was a fun period because we had a mini activity. & P.E it was fun, softball again (: this time, it was extra fun Lololol. We played a game of softball & I actually hit the ball.... Pretty far. Haha. After school, I went home & got ready. My family & I went Christmas shopping (: it was a good day. & to make things better it was a 3day weekend! & it was Friday (: haha.

I chose vintage because as of today, it's one of my favorite styles. It's a classy & cute look to wear. For my theme I wanted something simple yet nice & not too busy. I brainstormed many ideas such as fashion outlines, retro, patterns, & more. Vintage stuck to me & fit best. In the olden days is when cloth was made & today we have so many people involved with fashion thanks to the vintage people lolol. Fashion is vintage & I feel as if vintage is really coming back into place today. Many people are realizing the 'vintage style.' It's a cute theme that can relate to fashion today. Vintage = fashion. There are other reasons but as of right now, these are the main reasons. I'm gonna add more to this blog when things come to mind. ~ps I'm doing this blog on my phone because for some reason my laptop is not opening Mozilla right now . >__< so if the layout or something is messed up sorry. Talent Strips!
-This activity was very interesting. I say that because some people had interesting talents. The activity alone was interesting, I think so because we never really got told what this activity was based on/ the purpose... So I never really understood what we were doing. Although we all had guesses on why we were doing this. For example; someone thought each strip & color represented a 'performance.' LOL.. anyways, I'm going to be sharing the reason to why I think we did this activity.
-'it looks like a chain link. I think we did this activity to show that we all have differnt talents but in the end we joined all talents together into one link which shows we are all cable of different things but in the end we can all come together as 'one' & work together.' Basically, this activity made me realize that we are all different in our own ways, and are cable of many things... Each of us individuals have things in common as well but in the end all together we can work.. lol.

This week was a whole bunch of emotions. As far as everything, it was okay.
Monday: it was a bleh day. ;3 we had even periods . Leadership, Science & P.E. for leadership we got ready for ISA, cleaned small kine, & did some work. For science we got introduced to our Project 1. The Rock Cycle & Types. We completed the Rock Lab & started on Project 1. For P.E we drew because we had an assembly so there wasn't much time. The assembly was based on "social tattoos." It was pretty cool & small kine funny. I was scared he was gonna show my instagram lol! Anyways, Monday was chill.
Tuesday: I had Algebra, Social Studies, & English ;3 bleh. Algebra we are working out nonlinear & linear equations. W/graphing. Social studies we took notes the WHOOOLLLEEE ENTIRE class! I was bored out of my mind!!! Anywho, I completed the notes hahah. All we do in social studies is take notes & do 1938927492 projects a week. Ohwell. The projects are easy so it's k. English, was cool I guess. Went over new vocabulary words & started on our new book (: it talks about how life was for the African culture & for people who lives in the Bronx NY. Lol. The language of the book was all like 'nigga fool.' You could just tell.. After school... Well, I had to go doctors after for a physical. I went to the doctors thinking I was gonna walk out with 2 shots instead I came out with 7 shots & blood drawn from my body ); I was in pain . I also found out I have 'Scoliosis' which is a curve in my spine. My spine is 32 degrees off & when I bend down you can see my spine not being straight ); so I'm either gonna have to wear a back brave 24:7 or surgically fix it. My appt is on Nov.19 to see what is up with my bak . No biggie.
Wednesday: Halloween!!! My Halloween was alright. I got to spend it with a couple old friends from elementary! Hope you guys had fun (: I saw some of you guys trick or treating! I loved all your costumes (: as far as school, I left early so there isn't much to say about periods. I was there for homeroom but I left because my arm was cramping & I could feel my headache coming back which is just a reaction to the 7 shots. I was gonna stay home but my mom said to go school & stick it out but if it cramps ten to health room so I did. I missed out on Period 2s performance ); I was so excited to watch it too & den. But it's okay (: I heard it was good!! <33
Thursday: ISA! Honestly, ISA went realllllllllllly smooth!!! We ha no biggies. Our girls softball team is beast! Foreal, undefeated !! & their sportsmanship is so great! I was really impressed & proud. They represented our school so well! Like you don't even understand how amazed I was with our softball teams! Very humble due to the fact they won all games. They were even giving chance. I know they cared about the other schools. Humble comes along way & shows much respect. Other than that, it was fun & wicked hot! I had fun, I was by myself but whatever I had fun! No problems which is good!! Everyone did their part, no complications. I know for a fact my Afro, Heighlee Bennnnnettttee had the time of her life at ISA (; lol.
Friday: LOL. All I can say is "true friends tell you things you NEED to hear not WANT to hear." So during period 6 we had a DEEP meeting. We basically had to share out thoughts on Khrizz. Honestly, I might have sounded so rude, mean, sassy, or 'I don't care' type of attitude but honestly I do care for Khrizz & what I said needed to be said. I feel like what I told her was on point & period 6 agreed with me. If I didn't say it I don't think anyone else would have . Anyways , for science we finished our project on the rock cycle! Finalllllly. Lolol, P.E was fun! We are starting on softball now (: we practiced throwing & batting. I'm better at catching rather than batting.. Lol.

So, this week had its bad & good moments but overall it was a good week.
•Period 1: Social Studies. We began starting our next project which is suppose to be a summary/essay again. We took notes & shared our summaries in class. We also watched a video based on America & war back then. It was interesting & gross. ); back then they would eat other people's dead bodies because they were low on survival due to lack of food. To sum it up we took lots& lots& lots of notes in social studies ;3
•Period 2: P.E. we are still working on the same sport; Basketball. I got to work with a bunch of different classmates & alternated partners which was fun. We played this throwing game which was boring but it became fun when we challenged everyone. We practiced different ways to guard the ball but I'm so small, the ball lost me. Lol. We played capture the cone which was really fun! You had to throw a ball & if you make it into the basket you grab the teams cone & bring it to your teams corner. & we also had a race on who could get the ball into the basket the fastest. Although, that was dangerous for some people. Lol, my classmate slipped on the ball & fell. this week we are starting softball.
•Period 3: Algebra. This week we basically focused on HSA testing. The HSA was actually difficult because it went over a lot of things we didn't go over yet. Most questions I was just guessing. We took some notes in class which was boring. Although, since the HSA took 2 periods it was kind of like a 'relaxing' week for algebra because we never got any homework I only took notes one class. So, overall we did HSA testing -__-
• Period 4: Science. We are learning about the Rock Cycle. It is pretty easy only & ONLY if you review it every night >__< the quiz I did bad on because I only studied the cycle not the entire how the rock is made thingyz we had a rock lab & examined 12 different rocks & had to classify them based in texture, size, shape, & color. I actually learned a lot about rocks lol. The rock lab was fun & interesting.
•Period 5: English! We took a quiz & I got a good grade (: we went over reliable sites & non reliable sites. Also ways to tell if a news paper / source is trust worthy or not. Our next project for English is based on doing some research so Mr.Mitsuda is trying to prep us for using appropriate sites. One of the sites we are not allowed to use is Wikipedia. We took notes & also had a mini activity. Mr.Mitsuda showed us newspapers & we had to guess if it was reliable or non reliable.
•Leadership: This week in A101 we had our 'moments.' & talks. We weren't completing blogs but we completed out secret Santa one. I worked at.V which was fun(: except on Friday, lol. I was so nervous because we had a guest & it was nervous because like it was a different format & I wasn't use to it.

-This flyer is based on Ilima Intermediate's talent show.
This flyer was a fun flyer to do because it was based on one of my favorite themes! 80's, 90's, & now (: lol. I had fun searching for pictures (x anyways, these are the GLO's I followed for this flyer:
GLO #1- Self directed learner:
-I was a self directed learner because I was able to finish my flyer & flyer blog on time. & I completed this flyer on my own following GLO #4.
GLO #2- Community Contributor:

-I was a complex thinker because I was on a computer that couldn't print so I just used my flash drive to transfer my flyer & dragged it to the other computer that can print so I could print it. Also, the keyboard I was using didn't allow me to use the 'x' & 'c' key so I edited my flyer on a computer that allowed me to use those two keys.

Leadership is not about ability, its about responsibility
"Leadership is not about ability, it is about responsibility.''
-This quote speaks that in the leadership program it is definitely about being responsible. For example, if you are having a hard time with music, just ask for help. As long as you are there for music on time, you have your music, & you are set up then those are the basic responsibilities for music. If something is wrong ask for help. Speak up. When in the leadership program you must follow through all directions and listen carefully and there shouldn't be problems. If you are responsible you will follow the directions and there shouldn't be problems. Although if you aren't being responsible and listening carefully there is a chance you will face problems. In leadership there is MANY responsibilities. (T.V, music, I.D's, ect.) & in order to be in leadership you have to be committed and responsible. If not you'll mess up. Leadership is not about what you can and cannot do. Its about being there. You should be responsible and show that you want to be here in the leadership program. Even though there will be something you cannot do that shouldn't effect you from being responsible. Leadership is a very important program in Ilima and we all have said we are willing to take time out of our day for leadership, that is one responsibility we were given.

Week 7
So, this week went by fast, there wasn't much going on. Most of my classes involved preparing for upcoming project.
Period 1: For social studies, we finished our Project 1 which is an essay. It was an easy project because we needed 4 paragraphs and each day we worked on 1 project. With that, all i needed to do the night before was add all the paragraphs. Miss.Chin gave us examples which made the project easier as well. Now we are starting on Project 2. For project 2 we are creating our own land with our own rights. I have Ceci, and Mahea in my group. So far social studies is chill ONLY if you keep up with the work.
Period 2: P.E was fun (: we still continued to play volleyball! We played with a huge ball again! My team won, even though I got hit with the ball 50026520254789 times! lol. I didn't dress out one day so I had to wear my tights );
Period 3: Algebra, we started on a new component which is Scientific notation! That to me is the easiest. I have so much things to study on so that I can ace the quiz and test coming up. But, we worked on Monomials and Scientific notation. We had a sub and we did a puzzle that I did a good job on (: & of course, weekly lectures. -.- Mrs.Gouveia started this thing where she checks if we brought our algebra book randomly so I'm gonna start bringing my book everyday! It's like extra credit ? That's pretty much it.
Period 4: Science, we studied for our quiz and prepared for our Project. I got a 6/6 on my quiz thank god for the extra credit question!!! My group and I brainstormed ideas for our project and so far our idea is going okay. We went over Convection Currents again. Also, LSA's. Now that Mrs.Fujimoto is back, everything seems to be in hand and getting done (=
Period 5: English! We are working on our essay that is due about the book Touching Spirit Bear. The essay if easy because its based on our opinion wether or not Cole deserves a second chance. Since it's based on an opinion there is no right or wrong answer. Also, Mr.Mitsuda gave us examples and fill in the blanks so our essays are easy. We haven't been reading Touching Spirt Bear because of the essay. -.- but any how, english is chill and easy.
Period 6: Leadership.... So I have experienced 'leadership drama' and honestly it was the saddest and worst part of my week. Seeing my group and 2 of the group leaders crying really made me realize how much we all love each other. I know it might sound corny but whatever -.- I know that times like these only make us a closer family. Although I didn't like the tension that was between some people. We did do the best thing and talk everything out. Gladly, we forgave the people and got over it. Most of us learned from the situation. Anyhow we learned how to work the yearbook application. I guess its easy, I was having a hard time but I got the hang of it. Other than that, it was fun (=

It's like extra credit ? That's pretty much it.
Period 4: Science, we studied for our quiz and prepared for our Project. I got a 6/6 on my quiz thank god for the extra credit question!!! My group and I brainstormed ideas for our project and so far our idea is going okay. We went over Convection Currents again. Also, LSA's. Now that Mrs.Fujimoto is back, everything seems to be in hand and getting done (=
Period 5: English! We are working on our essay that is due about the book Touching Spirit Bear. The essay if easy because its based on our opinion wether or not Cole deserves a second chance. Since it's based on an opinion there is no right or wrong answer. Also, Mr.Mitsuda gave us examples and fill in the blanks so our essays are easy. We haven't been reading Touching Spirt Bear because of the essay. -.- but any how, english is chill and easy.
Period 6: Leadership.... So I have experienced 'leadership drama' and honestly it was the saddest and worst part of my week. Seeing my group and 2 of the group leaders crying really made me realize how much we all love each other. I know it might sound corny but whatever -.- I know that times like these only make us a closer family. Although I didn't like the tension that was between some people. We did do the best thing and talk everything out. Gladly, we forgave the people and got over it. Most of us learned from the situation. Anyhow we learned how to work the yearbook application. I guess its easy, I was having a hard time but I got the hang of it. Other than that, it was fun (=

So this week was super fun! Between Cross Country, chill periods, & welcome social! Since I have a lot to say about this week I am going to start off with Cross Country, Welcome Social, & then each period all in separate paragraphs okay? K(:
Cross Country- I had a blast during the meet, I can honestly say I'm glad I joined the team (: well worth my time. All the practices we had were well worth it and paid off! Even though I got 41th place I'm still proud of myself for even trying and not giving up. There were many times during practice when I felt like giving up but I always told myself hard work pays off and it did! I had a blast cheering on my team and I really made myself proud because I seriously thought I was gonna make it. I wish it lasted longer )x lol. So, we got to the meet at Nanakuli then the girls raced first, and then the boys. Bretman & I were in charge of taking pictures. I felt like a paparazzi because I was running with the camera trying to get past the boys so I could snap a few photos. The boys on our team are fast! I'm not sure what place Ilima got but it's not about winning, it is about representing our school with CLASS not trash >__< lol. Glad I was on the team, had a blast with my teammates at practice & especially at the meet!
Welcome Social- The time we put into the social was worth it because as I was watching people I could tell everyone was having fun. Bretman and Nic you guys did an AWESOME job being the DJ and the songs you guys picked were just right! Perfect. Everyone was dancing. Some people were like dirty dancing 0__o LOL. & I think the Photo Booth was a GREAT idea! The lines for the games, tattoos, & photo booth were kind of chill but still a lot of people were playing which is a good thing! They kept occupied and weren't bored. The first shift I worked which was easy except when we couldn't find the ring. lol. Mostly everyone at the social participated at Ring Toss but only a few actually made it in! ): haha. After the first shift me & Laurence played a couple games of balloon dart & ring toss, took pictures in the photo booth, talked to some friends, and I danced with Heighlee (: I even got to enjoy myself! This was a good Welcome Social and I'm sure everyone enjoyed their time. All of the games we had, and contests were greaaat ideas! (: again, hard work payed off! Although we did finish late cleaning up, that is OUR fault because we were on our electronics and some of us didn't know what to do -.- but we got it done. Now we just gotta put everything back on Monday morning! What a great way to end my friday (: Welcome Social was a A SUCCESS! ~
Period 1- We didn't do much besides watch ANOTHER movie on how America was back then. We completed the final paragraph of conflicts and how they relate to the British/Colonists & revised a partners paper. Also, took some more notes on the Boston Massacre. During the movie I was closing my eyes because their was A LOT of bloody scenes and most of you don't know this about me but I can't stand looking at blood or surgery scenes when they cut open skin so yeah I covered my eyes, I was so shame LOL ); It was a chill period. I missed one of the days because I was on the Cross Country meet so yeah.
Period 2- P.E! We played a couple volley ball games against our classmates and it was a lot of fun (: even though I got beamed in the chest and head )x lol. My team and I was one step away from Royal Court which is where the 2 final teams that beat all the other teams compete but the bell was gonna ring so yeah, kill joy~ Then we took notes and learned the over hand pass/ spike which I need to improve on. I got it over the net but it wasn't hard enough. -.- & today since there was only 10 of us we played girls against boys with a HUGE ball! It was fun yet hard because the ball was bigger than me, no joke. (maybe a little exaggeration but yeh.) haha, basically it.
Period 3- ALGEBRA! LOLOLOLOL. lame. We are learning 'Monomials.' how to divide and multiply monomials. Its pretty tough still yet so I will have to attend the tutoring with Mr.Ing. Everyday we take notes then solve some problems. Same ol, same ol. But today was different. I kind of got annoyed at the class because everyone in the library was talking/ whispering and all Mrs.Gouveia did was tell them to be quiet, but when Heighlee & I made the slightest noise she goes all africa on us. ): She told us ''you guys are in leadership! you should be role models!'' & then the class was like ''mhm.'' I was shame cause yeah but annoyed because I know were in leadership and she expects a little more from us and we have to represent but how was I suppose to sit in the same chair for an hour and 10 minutes not saying ANYTHING! omg, i mean for me that's hard especially when Heighlee was right in front of me! like seriously, I was annoyed. Then again, I shouldn't have been talking -.- kill joy again.
Period 4- We had a sub ALL week, Mrs.Fujimoto is out sick ): but we worked on creating a flow map on the Earth's crust. It's been pretty chill because whenever we have a sub for Mrs.Fujimoto she makes us take notes. When we finished our notes we were able to chill out.
Period 5- English! We read chapter 8-12 of Touching Spirit Bear then created a flow map of each chapter and drew a picture for each chapter in groups. We got to pick our groups(: We also got our constructive responses back. I got 10/10 on all of them except ONE. ): I got 83% on one of them ); So far I have an A for Mr.Mitsuda so hopefully it doesn't bring my grade down big time.
On Monday, I will be adding pictures from the Welcome Social & Cross Country meet so yeah. Hope you all had a great week (: & enjoy your weekend!<33

Bio Cube
K. So, this is like reallly late. -.- Anyway, my bio cube project was fun. I like writing about myself because it's like the easiest thing to write about because of course you know yourself the most. This porject was easy. The hard part was creating the box ); I wanted my box to be as straight and steady as possible. The fun part was printing out my differnt typings and pickng the fonts and colors for my textes. Another hard part was sharing infront of the class because, I was shame and shy. It was the first time we had to share infront of the class and I was nervous. lolol -.- but I made it through.
GLO#1- self directed learner: I was a self directed learner because I completed the bio cube on my own. I typed and printed everythin go my own.
GLO#2- community contributor: I comunicated with others by sharing ideas, and helping others when they needed help.

PROBATION.
So being on probation honestly sucked. I felt like I didn't belong in leadership like when everyone was working I couldn't work, & I was really disappointed in myself. While everyone was working at Intramural & I was sitting on the side I felt so weak. It sucks because I know I'm not that type of girl, & I felt like I disappointed everyone so early in the year. Especially Errlyn & Mr.Ing. ugh. I also was so excited to be on Ilima T.V but b/c I was on probation I couldn't. I also felt bad because it was only Errlyn & Laila working ); Being on probation sucks soooo much! But honestly, I'm glad this happen to me because I learned what it feels like so early in the year, & I can say that I don't ever wanna experience being on probation again. I'm gonna keep up with my grades b/c I don't wanna feel so weak & disappointed in myself again!
Week #5
ugh. Well I'm gonna start off with Leadership because I have a lot to saay....
Leadership (pd6): So like, this week of leadership went really well up until Wednesday. My group & I had T.V & I went on T.V for the first time on Monday! It was realllllly fun (= I was super excited. Although my hands were sweaty, and my heart was beating b/c I was so nervous I was excited at the same time. It''s scary cause like its LIVE. I made couple mistakes but it was my first time haha. Although, Wednesday progress reports came out and that's when it all started. My week literally went from 'great' to blehhh. asdfghikl! I basically was on probation for the whole week because of my grades. & I'm gonna say my feelings and how being on probation was on a separate blog so read that blog when it gets posted for more ''info.'' but yeah. Thats ittt..... iguess.
Period 1: We took notes allll week and watched another video about how America was back then. boring I know. But we also worked on our paragraphs for our next upcoming 'big' project. I been getting good scores on those paragraphs & worksheets (: overall, period 1 was okay. Did work, and yeah just chilled a little bit. -.-
Period 2: P.E; we're working on Volleyball components which is fun because I am a past volleyball player & I loooove volleyball (= take notes on volleyball everyday, practice hitting the ball, & then we play couple volleyball games till the bell rings. Not much going on, everyday is about the same i guess.
Period 3: Algebra! oh yeah. We took our test again & I can honestly say I believe I did a way better job. If it wasn't for the practice we did with Mr.Ing. lol thank you Mr. Ing (= well yeah & we are starting a new chapter which is 'Monomials.' I think that's how you spell it -.- it seems like PEMDAS & square roots combined o__0 idk but I need help with that! & we just took notes and listened to lectures from Mrs.Gouviea. haha .......
Period 4: science. Mrs.Fujimoto hasn't been feeling well so all we been doing was taking notes, and working on the center of the earth. I learned about Divergent, Convergent, & Transform (= haha. Learned a loooooot. We had a sub today and he was pretty chill we took notes again and that's it. We did some art work toooooo & a puzzle activity. I was Errlaann's partner haha (; best partner ever! lol (x nothing big. Got work done, then chilled.
Period 5: English! We read The Spirit Bear and and took a quiz and I got 8/10 ); which is a B! ughhhh. We learned 9 new vocabulary words (= english is always a chill class ONLY if you focus and get your work done on TIME.
~so yeah, I guess you can say this week wasn't all that much except for being on probation!

Difficulties: Some difficulties we faced while creating this flyer was adding in the photos. Whenever we added in photos, our text would disappear. Also, we weren't sure how to add a background to our flyer, but luckily, Plankton found the solution! We also had a hard time finding pictures. Most pictures were to big so when we cropped it you could barely see the picture. Another difficulty we faced was backgrounds in our pictures. As you can see there is a white background, we weren't sure how to fade it away. Lastly, saving our flyer & adding it to our blogger. We needed to snapshot the flyer because it wouldn't save.
Easy things: Searching for pictures, creating the text, and making our flyer look colorful were the only things I found easy to do. lol....

week #4
This week.... where do I begin?
Monday: So on Monday it was an okay day,, we had a test for social studies on the fifty states which was reallllllly unexpected which is the reason why my grade for social studies is low. ;3 well, for algebra.. haha it was a little awkward because Mrs.Gouveia was talking to us about her teaching skills (cough, cough.) LOL. We just took notes on radical fractions and started on some homework. As always it was a boring period but gotta get the work done right? For English.... lol Mr.Mitsuda, it was probably one of the better parts of my day only because English is super easy so in English it's like a chill class for me, I got my work done early so I pretty much just chilled half of the English class. Although for leadership it was my first time doing music and speaking into the mike. As you all know, I was super exicted! But when time came for me to speak into the mike... my heart was beating realllly fast (x & I was nervous that I would mess up or I would talk slow, and soft but I did pretty good (: for a first timer. Yuuup thats how my Monday went. Oh & lunch... HA, (cough, cough) it was okay too lol. Just chilled & laughed with my friends, especially JESSIIIICAAA! hah, k.
Tuesday: P.E we played ultimate Frisbee which was a FAIL! You could see all the girls lined up just watching the boys play! ahah, but me, destiny, & Kennedy were the only ones on the field TRYING to play but the boys barely threw the frisbee to us cause like we suck so i don't blame them. ;3 Science, was alright, took notes again & we had a subsitute..... also had a test for science that i didn't do so good on but likely Mrs.Fujimoto eliminated that grade (; and for leadership we did Marque, i think im on track with the dayys...... but yeah & we cleaned up the reunion stuff and I think i burnt calories from sweating when I was helping carry some chairs back to A103. then we had advisory, made playlist for next morning & recess & yeah thats how my Tuesday went.

Picture taking was easy, we just handed the teachers their cards and told them where to go, although some were still lost and went the opposite way of where they were suppose to be but i guess -.- for the other half when i got back to Enlglish we had a substitute because Mr.Mitsuda was at a meeting, so I read poems and basically said the theme of the poem. easy easy. & algebra the first half we did a constructive response (x lol LAME, & then we went picture taking so me & errlaann just waited with Mr.Ing and it was funny cause like Mr.Ing was talking to Mrs.Gouveia about her teaching (cough, cough.) k.
Thursday: picture taking day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yuup, us girls spent literally 10 minutes fixing our hair, & another 5 minutes practicing our smile, (x haha. I'm scared cause like would if I look ugly in my yearbook picture & then the whole school teases me -.- lucky P.E was was last period, we played ultimate frisbee AGAIN! except girls vs girls, & boys vs boys. Dannng, I didn't realize girls were more competitive than boys 0__o my team lost. (cough, cough) Bretman did some britney spears mover and kicked my arm then he did another move and whacked Mrs.Dumaran in the face lol. I was dieing! foreal. Mrs.Dumaran is the best teacher (x (cough, cough) But period 6 was reallllly fun. Bretman was dancing on the poles and we were playing the quiet game, and staring contest.
Friday: this morning it was really fun! I think what we did this morning should be done every Friday or like once every two weeks (: for all the people who were dragging, tired, lazy, or feeling down, I think they ended up being entirely happpy & joyful when the bell rang. Every one was laughing, playing along, and just having a good time. Even me & Nerissa Mullen! xD lol. for algebra, we got yelled at cause most of us didn't know what we weere doing on our test so were gonna redo it on Tuesday. Mrs.Gouveia also yelled at us because when she asked who actually studied for the test only 3 people out of like 30 people raised their hands. saad. although the test was actually difficult. & for social studies not much happened, just took Cornell notes and graded our paragraph which i got a A on. yay. & also graded our video worksheet which I got an A on, hopefully thats enough to bring up my grade. & for english we were reading chapter 5 & 6 of Touching Spirit Bear & took notes on. easy easy. I was reading half of the day though cause like my A.R grade ); I was stresssing because I want all A's on my progress reports so I talked to Mrs.Fujimoto about my grade she took out my test which bumped my grade up (: & also for social studies.
yeah what a week.
Monday: So on Monday it was an okay day,, we had a test for social studies on the fifty states which was reallllllly unexpected which is the reason why my grade for social studies is low. ;3 well, for algebra.. haha it was a little awkward because Mrs.Gouveia was talking to us about her teaching skills (cough, cough.) LOL. We just took notes on radical fractions and started on some homework. As always it was a boring period but gotta get the work done right? For English.... lol Mr.Mitsuda, it was probably one of the better parts of my day only because English is super easy so in English it's like a chill class for me, I got my work done early so I pretty much just chilled half of the English class. Although for leadership it was my first time doing music and speaking into the mike. As you all know, I was super exicted! But when time came for me to speak into the mike... my heart was beating realllly fast (x & I was nervous that I would mess up or I would talk slow, and soft but I did pretty good (: for a first timer. Yuuup thats how my Monday went. Oh & lunch... HA, (cough, cough) it was okay too lol. Just chilled & laughed with my friends, especially JESSIIIICAAA! hah, k.
Tuesday: P.E we played ultimate Frisbee which was a FAIL! You could see all the girls lined up just watching the boys play! ahah, but me, destiny, & Kennedy were the only ones on the field TRYING to play but the boys barely threw the frisbee to us cause like we suck so i don't blame them. ;3 Science, was alright, took notes again & we had a subsitute..... also had a test for science that i didn't do so good on but likely Mrs.Fujimoto eliminated that grade (; and for leadership we did Marque, i think im on track with the dayys...... but yeah & we cleaned up the reunion stuff and I think i burnt calories from sweating when I was helping carry some chairs back to A103. then we had advisory, made playlist for next morning & recess & yeah thats how my Tuesday went.
Wednesday: Period 1: we watched a video about how America was back then & the Boston massacre, it was interesting learning some new things about the Colonists and British... learned lots of new things. Life back then was rough. People had to grow their own crops if they didn't grow their own crops that means they weren't going to eat. & English well I was at leadership helping with picture taking for the first half. Picture taking was easy, we just handed the teachers their cards and told them where to go, although some were still lost and went the opposite way of where they were suppose to be but i guess -.- for the other half when i got back to Enlglish we had a substitute because Mr.Mitsuda was at a meeting, so I read poems and basically said the theme of the poem. easy easy. & algebra the first half we did a constructive response (x lol LAME, & then we went picture taking so me & errlaann just waited with Mr.Ing and it was funny cause like Mr.Ing was talking to Mrs.Gouveia about her teaching (cough, cough.) k.
Thursday: picture taking day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yuup, us girls spent literally 10 minutes fixing our hair, & another 5 minutes practicing our smile, (x haha. This week of school went by really fast! I got to work I.D's and it was kind of boring cause not that much people came in. We went on a Period 6 date and on that date I realized somethings. People need to stop taking advantage of other people. Well this week I got really really really close to Heighlee and she helped me get through things and I helped her get through things loolol. Lunch was the best last week. I got to sit by my friends lollololol xD our Field trip was really fun! The movie was okaaaay but getting to hangout with Jessica & Laurence was fun. We were looking for leaf earings but couldnt find the right ones. We went into Forever 21 twice, Claires twice, Pacsun, Prototype, Nordstrom, Hot topic, and I think thats it. I enjoyed the fireworks (: As far as school I got a A on my quizzes expect for science )x but for algebra.... ohloooord Ms.Gouveia... lolollol algebra was haaard )x I needed help but didnt wanna ask Ms.Gouveia cause like I know shes just gonna say 'look at the examples in your book.' ugh. But yeah I stayed on task with completing my homework & school work. Im gonnna stay after school on Monday to make up my science quiz if Mrs.Fujimoto lets. & Cross country was fun! It was hard the first time but it's gonna get easier I lknooow. But this week I got close to Heighlee, & Laurence, & Errlannn! x) but tomorrow I have morning & recess music! Student Body Government,
In this blog I would like to tell you why I should be selected for Student Body Government, and reasons why I'd like to try out for student body government! First of all, I would like to try out for Student Body Government because I would like to try something different this school year and I know student body is apart of leadership, ever since I joined leadership I noticed a big difference at the way I look at school so I'd like to take this to a new level for the better of me. I always wanted to be apart of the student council in elementary but I would always be a shame to join. This year the opportunity is out for me again, and I don't want to leave this opportunity. I want to try out because who knows, this might be the last chance? Leadership has changed my perspective in school for the better, I noticed a huge different in the quality of my work & my GLO's! Next, I'd like to share a few reasons on why I should be selected as Student Body. I should be selected because I am a very honest and trustworthy person. As Student Body I know there are very difficult jobs and I know I am responsible enough to complete the tasks that come along with being Student Body. Also you can trust me and depend on me that all the tasks will get done with the best of my quality. I am able to manage time well, therefore I trust myself as Student Body. Along with Student Body, I know there will be tough times and stressful times but I can manage that and know that I will just have to work towards all that and stay on task and I shouldn't have problems! That is why I would like to try out for this huge opportunity and that is also why you should select me! IF I don't get selected at least I know i tried, stay positive!<33(: lolo.
Week 1 of school.
woot woot. we survived the first week of school (= lolol. Well my first week of school was greaaat! NOT. It was boring because in class all my teachers only went over the planner & their syllabus ); but leadership was fun because it was busy & I had fun assisting the 7th graders with heighlee (x I got to see all my friends & teachers again. Some people look different others look the same ahhaha. I missed school and I'm glad to be back, I'm usually happy about Fridays but this week I wasn't, I actually wanted to be in school! Period six got to do some bonding & take pictures, I'm sure you saw our pictures already (x yeah we failed at jumping! But the first week of school was boring but leadership was fun. As far as cafe monitors it was okkay. I didn't wanna wear the hair net )x I was washing dishes I didn't see a point in why a hair net was needed. Never again I am going to wash dishes with bretman! Half the time he was splashing water & making me laugh! He made a beach by the dish washing area (x lol. But he kept singing loud ((x I had fun working with my leadership family & meeting my new English teacher. Mr. Mitusda. He seems really chill, and Mr.Wilson, he is normal I guess haha nothing spectacular, he plays the drums I think? I am satisfied with all my classes and the people in it<33 I have heighlee & errlyn in my classes (: yeaaaah. I wanna go back school, the weekend is soooo boring!

Laila- Laila, I haven't really got a chance to have a whole conversation with her & get to ''know'' her, but slowly I am starting to see what kind of person she is. Laila seems to be very active and knows how to have a good time. I always see her and Khrizz dancing and singing (x but she also knows what to do and is very smart! Laila is friendly and nice, maybe a little shy but I think she is breaking out of that shell (':
Trixie- Trixie is a veryyyyy nice and smart girl! Trixie knows what she is doing, although she is kind of quiet but when I do get a chance to talk with her I can tell she is very smart, and outgoing (: She also seems like a person who would never leave your side & down to earth!<3
Daisy- Daisy, is very friendly and happy(: the first day I met Daisy she autocratically introduced herself to me and we got to know eachother a bit! She isn't shy at all and she knows how to joke around and when its time to work, it times to work ;p
Khrizz- Khrizz seems to be very smart, nice, and hyper with Laila lololololo (x I got to know Khrizz and she seems to be a very caring person who is always gonna be there for you. She knows how to have fun and sing (x her & laila always dancing when there is music *___* but yeah Khrizz is nice, and smart!
Serena- eww, then there is me -.- yeah im alright (:
Bretman- ohhhloooord (x Bretman is hilarious, outgoing, & veryyyyyyyyy active! Oh & he is actually pretty smart! lol, I will be honest and say Bretman is sooo funny he always makes me laugh and I get distracted a lot when he is with me, he always makes me laugh, thank god errlyn separated me & him! lol. He is also smart & knows what he is doing, especially with technology *__* I think he likes to sing too? Nicki minaj songs, ahah.
Savanah- Savanahhjjj is quiet and shy --.--if she wasn't so shy I think she would be friendly ('; leadership work wise, she tends to know what she is doing if not she ask questions and makes sure she is occupied helping others.

| So this is my group for leadership! We all have different personalities and we can get along really well. We annoy each other but that's why we love each other ('; we know how to have fun and do work, when its time too............. xD lol. But yeah I love my group and I am proud to call them my family<33 Errlyn is such a great leader, she teaches us right from wrong & whenever we make a mistake she makes sure to correct us ('; she is like our mommy & i appreciate & love her for that! I can tell this year is going to be a great & interesting year with these people(: You can obviously tell we are a bit crazy, i mean look at our picture ^^ LOL -.- Today we did some bonding & errlyn took pictures of us, and then we put the camera on timer and did like a billion attempts to make a jumping picture but that went down the drain -.- lolol. But yeah I love these people &evey time we bond is another moment to enjoy~ |
Schedule Pick up.
Schedule pick up was honestly really fun! i enjoyed helping the families & making I.D's. Even though it was getting a little slow. I notice everyone was working well and there wasn't any problems, Even though the line for ID was really long everyone seemed to be helping each other out. It was kind of hectic between opening & 12 ish we still made it through the day! If we didn't have peoples schedules there was always a solution so no one was left behind. If people had question & they came to leadership (us) we would always have an answer for them & didn't leave them hanging clueless. If we didn't have an answer to their question we would send them to Mr.Yamaguci & they were helped then. Otherwise it was a hectic, busy day but we got through! It was a fun day working with my leadership family as well<33 (:
GLO #1- Self Directed Learned: I was a self directed learner because I was able to find schedules on my own by finding their last name. Also, I was able to help others take their pictures and control the camera on my own.
GLO#2-Community Contributor: All together, we helped each other if we needed help. Also, we took turns working each station. I communicated with my friends by asking them to help me, or I asked if they need help. Of course, I communicated with all the students and parents assisting them on where to go next, and asking polietly their last name so I can give them their schedule.
GLO#3-Complex Thinker: If I needed help I would ask Mr.Yamaguchi(sp?) or the people around me for help.
GLO#4-Quality Producer: I was a quality produce because I was being a very nice and helpful person. I assisted everyone who needed help.

2nd week of school
The second week of school went almost quite like the 1st week. We continued to practice the leadership jobs, and work with others. We also were getting things ready for schedule pick up and making sure we knew what we were doing. We practiced making I.D's which was easy and interesting. During the second week I got to work with my group a lot which was interesting. Even though i was getting mad at Bretman because he kept turning things into a joke )x it was still fun working with my group and practicing the jobs. Lol<33
