Monday: Monday was a bleh, like always for English we are focuing on our research project. so far it's pretty hard honestly. It's so confusing because we need to research 3 different topics & add like 2 paragraphs for each research topic. But other wise it was easy. For algebra I'm actually getting it lol. It's easy because its review haha. We are doing geometric sequence. Now, Mrs.Gouveia is gonna start grading our homework assignments which I like because it will definitely bring up my grade. Monday was a drag, I just I'd why I needed to do & was looking forward to Tuesday because it was Election Day. Mondays are always a drag for me but this week, I sort of just did my thing because I knew we didn't have school & stuff. For social studies we are focusing on our essay. My essay is about the Mexican-American war. Social studies is eh, alright. Just doing what I'm suppose to do & it's pretty easy.
Tuesday: ELECTION DAY! I basically stayed home. The only thing I did was go out for a jog & stop at Starbucks with my friends. & we stopped by gieger park & played volleyball (: we got the ball stuck in the tree!! Lol, then after, I jogged back home by myself (x like a cool kid. Not. Anyway, I went home ate, & took a nap because I waaaaas bored! Then, my family & I watched the news & election stuff & yay Obama won! For dinner, we celebrated & bought chicken (; lol. @popeyes. & basically watched tv & got started for the next school day "/
Wednesday: P.E -.- softball! It's actually fun because I enjoy softball so yeah. & science, we are learning electromagnetic waves (: it's interesting & I actually am learning some things because we use those waves in our daily lifes! Such as tv, cellular devices, & radios. Ect. For leadership, we spent the period doing work & focusing on grades & stuff. It was a normal day. Except reallllllly boring. Idk why, it just was.
Thursday: same ol, same ol. Focused on our research project for English & practiced for the HSA. My topic I'm focusing on for English for the research paper is teen pregnancy -.- that's a big thing nowadays that's why. & social studies, I started on my essay. We made a tree map about all the different ears & stuff & we needed to pick which war we disagreed or agreed on. & I chose Mexican-American war. I went for a gooooooood jog on Thursday. Basically my day consisted of school, chores, & a jog. Then, homework , family time & I went to bed early. I was tired!!!
Friday: yay, it's Friday. Lol. For leadership we got introduced to a new presentation. I'm actually excited about this one because its about our talent (: & of course it's easy b/c it's about our talent. More so the video is what I'm looking forward to doing because I get to demonstrate my talent (: science, we learned about longitude, transverse, & surface waves' it was a fun period because we had a mini activity. & P.E it was fun, softball again (: this time, it was extra fun Lololol. We played a game of softball & I actually hit the ball.... Pretty far. Haha. After school, I went home & got ready. My family & I went Christmas shopping (: it was a good day. & to make things better it was a 3day weekend! & it was Friday (: haha.
I chose vintage because as of today, it's one of my favorite styles. It's a classy & cute look to wear. For my theme I wanted something simple yet nice & not too busy. I brainstormed many ideas such as fashion outlines, retro, patterns, & more. Vintage stuck to me & fit best. In the olden days is when cloth was made & today we have so many people involved with fashion thanks to the vintage people lolol. Fashion is vintage & I feel as if vintage is really coming back into place today. Many people are realizing the 'vintage style.' It's a cute theme that can relate to fashion today. Vintage = fashion. There are other reasons but as of right now, these are the main reasons. I'm gonna add more to this blog when things come to mind. ~ps I'm doing this blog on my phone because for some reason my laptop is not opening Mozilla right now . >__< so if the layout or something is messed up sorry. Talent Strips!
-This activity was very interesting. I say that because some people had interesting talents. The activity alone was interesting, I think so because we never really got told what this activity was based on/ the purpose... So I never really understood what we were doing. Although we all had guesses on why we were doing this. For example; someone thought each strip & color represented a 'performance.' LOL.. anyways, I'm going to be sharing the reason to why I think we did this activity.
-'it looks like a chain link. I think we did this activity to show that we all have differnt talents but in the end we joined all talents together into one link which shows we are all cable of different things but in the end we can all come together as 'one' & work together.' Basically, this activity made me realize that we are all different in our own ways, and are cable of many things... Each of us individuals have things in common as well but in the end all together we can work.. lol.
-it represents each of us. It shows we have different abilities and are all talented in our own ways. We all can do things some other people may not 'enjoy' doing. It represents each & everyone of us in our own ways. It goes to show how unique each of us can be.

-I was a quality producer because I wrote my name across the whole strip neatly in bubble font so it wasn't so boring. & I also wrote my description for my talents neatly so people can read it clearly.

-For this activity I didn't use any technology. I used paper, pencil, & my head.... lol.

This week was a whole bunch of emotions. As far as everything, it was okay.
Monday: it was a bleh day. ;3 we had even periods . Leadership, Science & P.E. for leadership we got ready for ISA, cleaned small kine, & did some work. For science we got introduced to our Project 1. The Rock Cycle & Types. We completed the Rock Lab & started on Project 1. For P.E we drew because we had an assembly so there wasn't much time. The assembly was based on "social tattoos." It was pretty cool & small kine funny. I was scared he was gonna show my instagram lol! Anyways, Monday was chill.
Tuesday: I had Algebra, Social Studies, & English ;3 bleh. Algebra we are working out nonlinear & linear equations. W/graphing. Social studies we took notes the WHOOOLLLEEE ENTIRE class! I was bored out of my mind!!! Anywho, I completed the notes hahah. All we do in social studies is take notes & do 1938927492 projects a week. Ohwell. The projects are easy so it's k. English, was cool I guess. Went over new vocabulary words & started on our new book (: it talks about how life was for the African culture & for people who lives in the Bronx NY. Lol. The language of the book was all like 'nigga fool.' You could just tell.. After school... Well, I had to go doctors after for a physical. I went to the doctors thinking I was gonna walk out with 2 shots instead I came out with 7 shots & blood drawn from my body ); I was in pain . I also found out I have 'Scoliosis' which is a curve in my spine. My spine is 32 degrees off & when I bend down you can see my spine not being straight ); so I'm either gonna have to wear a back brave 24:7 or surgically fix it. My appt is on Nov.19 to see what is up with my bak . No biggie.
Wednesday: Halloween!!! My Halloween was alright. I got to spend it with a couple old friends from elementary! Hope you guys had fun (: I saw some of you guys trick or treating! I loved all your costumes (: as far as school, I left early so there isn't much to say about periods. I was there for homeroom but I left because my arm was cramping & I could feel my headache coming back which is just a reaction to the 7 shots. I was gonna stay home but my mom said to go school & stick it out but if it cramps ten to health room so I did. I missed out on Period 2s performance ); I was so excited to watch it too & den. But it's okay (: I heard it was good!! <33
Thursday: ISA! Honestly, ISA went realllllllllllly smooth!!! We ha no biggies. Our girls softball team is beast! Foreal, undefeated !! & their sportsmanship is so great! I was really impressed & proud. They represented our school so well! Like you don't even understand how amazed I was with our softball teams! Very humble due to the fact they won all games. They were even giving chance. I know they cared about the other schools. Humble comes along way & shows much respect. Other than that, it was fun & wicked hot! I had fun, I was by myself but whatever I had fun! No problems which is good!! Everyone did their part, no complications. I know for a fact my Afro, Heighlee Bennnnnettttee had the time of her life at ISA (; lol.
Friday: LOL. All I can say is "true friends tell you things you NEED to hear not WANT to hear." So during period 6 we had a DEEP meeting. We basically had to share out thoughts on Khrizz. Honestly, I might have sounded so rude, mean, sassy, or 'I don't care' type of attitude but honestly I do care for Khrizz & what I said needed to be said. I feel like what I told her was on point & period 6 agreed with me. If I didn't say it I don't think anyone else would have . Anyways , for science we finished our project on the rock cycle! Finalllllly. Lolol, P.E was fun! We are starting on softball now (: we practiced throwing & batting. I'm better at catching rather than batting.. Lol.
