week #6

So this week was super fun! Between Cross Country, chill periods, & welcome social! Since I have a lot to say about this week I am going to start off with Cross Country, Welcome Social, & then each period all in separate paragraphs okay? K(:

Cross Country- I had a blast during the meet, I can honestly say I'm glad I joined the team (: well worth my time. All the practices we had were well worth it and paid off! Even though I got 41th place I'm still proud of myself for even trying and not giving up. There were many times during practice when I felt like giving up but I always told myself hard work pays off and it did! I had a blast cheering on my team and I really made myself proud because I seriously thought I was gonna make it. I wish it lasted longer )x lol. So, we got to the meet at Nanakuli then the girls raced first, and then the boys. Bretman & I were in charge of taking pictures. I felt like a paparazzi because I was running with the camera trying to get past the boys so I could snap a few photos. The boys on our team are fast! I'm not sure what place Ilima got but it's not about winning, it is about representing our school with CLASS not trash >__< lol. Glad I was on the team, had a blast with my teammates at practice & especially at the meet! 

Welcome Social- The time we put into the social was worth it because as I was watching people I could tell everyone was having fun. Bretman and Nic  you guys did an AWESOME job being the DJ and the songs you guys picked were just right! Perfect. Everyone was dancing. Some people were like dirty dancing 0__o LOL. & I think the Photo Booth was  a GREAT idea! The lines for the games, tattoos, & photo booth were kind of chill but still a lot of people were playing which is a good thing! They kept occupied and weren't bored. The first shift I worked which was easy except when we couldn't find the ring. lol. Mostly everyone at the social participated at Ring Toss but only a few actually made it in! ): haha. After the first shift me & Laurence played a couple games of balloon dart & ring toss, took pictures in the photo booth, talked to some friends, and I danced with Heighlee (: I even got to enjoy myself! This was a good Welcome Social and I'm sure everyone enjoyed their time. All of the games we had, and contests were greaaat ideas! (: again, hard work payed off! Although we did finish late cleaning up, that is OUR fault because we were on our electronics and some of us didn't know what to do -.- but we got it done. Now we just gotta put everything back on Monday morning! What a great way to end my friday (: Welcome Social was a A SUCCESS! ~

Period 1- We didn't do much besides watch ANOTHER movie on how America was back then. We completed the final paragraph of conflicts and how they relate to the British/Colonists & revised a partners paper. Also, took some more notes on the Boston Massacre. During the movie I was closing my eyes because their was A LOT of bloody scenes and most of you don't know this about me but I can't stand looking at blood or surgery scenes when they cut open skin so yeah I covered my eyes, I was so shame LOL ); It was a chill period. I missed one of the days because I was on the Cross Country meet so yeah.
Period 2- P.E! We played a couple volley ball games against our classmates and it was a lot of fun (: even though I got beamed in the chest and head )x lol. My team and I was one step away from Royal Court which is where the 2 final teams that beat all the other teams compete but the bell was gonna ring so yeah, kill joy~ Then we took notes and learned the over hand pass/ spike which I need to improve on. I got it over the net but it wasn't hard enough. -.- & today since there was only 10 of us we played girls against boys with a HUGE ball! It was fun yet hard because the ball was bigger than me, no joke. (maybe a little exaggeration but yeh.) haha, basically it.
Period 3- ALGEBRA! LOLOLOLOL. lame. We are learning 'Monomials.' how to divide and multiply monomials. Its pretty tough still yet so I will have to attend the tutoring with Mr.Ing. Everyday we take notes then solve some problems. Same ol, same ol. But today was different. I kind of got annoyed at the class because everyone in the library was talking/ whispering and all Mrs.Gouveia did was tell them to be quiet, but when Heighlee & I made the slightest noise she goes all africa on us. ): She told us ''you guys are in leadership! you should be role models!'' & then the class was like ''mhm.'' I was shame cause yeah but annoyed because I know were in leadership and she expects a little more from us and we have to represent but how was I suppose to sit in the same chair for an hour and 10 minutes not saying ANYTHING! omg, i mean for me that's hard especially when Heighlee was right in front of me! like seriously, I was annoyed. Then again, I shouldn't have been talking -.- kill joy again.
Period 4- We had a sub ALL week, Mrs.Fujimoto is out sick ): but we worked on creating a flow map on the Earth's crust. It's been pretty chill because whenever we have a sub for Mrs.Fujimoto she makes us take notes. When we finished our notes we were able to chill out.
Period 5- English! We read chapter 8-12 of Touching Spirit Bear then created a flow map of each chapter and drew a picture for each chapter in groups. We got to pick our groups(: We also got our constructive responses back. I got 10/10 on all of them except ONE. ): I got 83% on one of them ); So far I have an A for Mr.Mitsuda so hopefully it doesn't bring my grade down big time.

On Monday, I will be adding pictures from the Welcome Social & Cross Country meet so yeah. Hope you all had a great week (: & enjoy your weekend!<33
