The quote above is my favorite quote because it tells me to always look at things in a positive perspective. When you see things and you aren't satisfied or you feel as if it can be better change the way you see it, view the good things about it and ignore the flaws of it. In other words always look at things in a positive way. YOU determine the way you see things. Would you rather be disappointed and look at flaws or appreciate the better things, see it in a positive way and be happy?

This was my favorite comment because I honestly dislike my smile. I needed braces to get the smile I have today and other people have nice NATURAL smiles. I used to get teased a lot because before I got braces, ohhlooord. It was hurricane Katrina in my mouth -.- but yeah. & my outfits. I take literally hours getting ready picking the right outfit out, so the fact that someone compliments my style shows that they notice it. & as you all know, fashion is my passion so I take it seriously. & that comment really brightened my day and stood out to me. SELF ESTEEM PROJECT:
BEFORE: - First we picked out our cape color and wrote our name large at the bottom of our poster. Also we attached a string so that we can wear it around our neck as a cape.

DURING: - The main part of the project was to write a positive comment on each others cape.
The photo below shows Jessica writing a positive comment on my cape. & the other photo is a photo of me writing a positive comment on Yazmeens cape!

AFTER: - At the end, we read all our comments, & picked out our favorite comment, and a positive quote.
